Limited Edition

This is for my class at the Sheoak Craft Cottage.
I love how Georgia Keays uses black matting in her layouts, and I thought I would use it as inspiration for the class.
Using Kaisercraft papers and ofcourse.....Twiddleybitz!! lol
Should be a fun  class :-)

Thanks for stopping by.

Catherine. Twiddleybitz Scrap My Photo Competition.

Recently Twiddleybitz held a Scrap My Photo Competition
where members were invited to upload their photos and 10 random winners were drawn
and 10 of  the Twiddleybitz Design Team would scrap  their  photos.
Gypsylcm was one of the winners and I was the lucky DT member who got to create with the beautiful photo of her Nana, Catherine.
I have tucked a blank journalling tag behind the photo so Gypsy could fill in any extra details about Catherine or the photo.

I must admit to feeling quite nervous scrapping for someone else. :-)

thanks for stopping by.

Meeting Nanna

The lovely Tiff Sawyer from Scrap Sanity sent me a kit to play with.
I love that she challenged me with some bright papers, but I still seemed to end up toning things down and made a  vintagey layout.
I can't seem to get my head around brights...I admire those that can. :-)
This is my daughter meeting her Nanna for the very first time.
Using Basic Grey Kissing Booth papers and embellishments  from the kit and of course I managed to add some Twiddleybitz :-)
Thanks for stopping by.

One More?

An entry for the new challenge site Scrap That Song  which is pretty cool.

The criteria was to scrap a nursery ryhme. I kind of tweaked it and scrapped about singing nursery ryhmes......and the rest.  :-) Unfortunately I didn't scrap when my children were babies and toddlers and I really regret not taking more photos of them at that age, so I scrapped a nursery rhyme book instead and told the story with its help.
so my advice to new parents????
Photos!! lots and lots of photos!!!...especially with todays  digital and phone cameras and computers to
store them all....oh to have THAT technology 14 years ago!!

thanks for stopping by.

Scrap Sanity!!

I am just a bit excited. :-)
I am finally able to reveal that I am now part of the inaugural
Scrap Sanity Design Team.!

This a brand new online store plus also a shop front run by

I feel so honoured to be invited to be part of such an exciting team and I look forward to
having a ball!!

And the challenges have started already!!
The challenge for December is to use Journalling on your page.
REAL journalling. not just a title, date, quote etc.
Something in relation to the photo.

This is a photo of Teagan taken last year.
Whenever I look at it I realise that my little girl is growing up and soon she won't need me
as much. But I just wanted her to know that whenever she does  need me I will be here, ready.

Thanks for stopping by.
and hope you hop over to the new shop on the block and visit Scrap Sanity and see what Tiff has to offer.
See you soon!
